MIAMI VALLEY P25 REPEATER NETWORK
The MVP25 linked repeater network is a linked P25 vote scan radio system. This system is designed to mimic public safety grade systems in use by cities, townships and other public safety agencies.
PLEASE READ THE USERS GUIDE TO UNDERSTAND HOW TO PROGRAM AND USE THE MVP25 RADIO SYSTEM.
The MVP25 system operates as a vote scan system where approximately 16 links work together to provide quality audio throughout the entire Miami Valley. The system requires you to hold down your PTT button for two (2) seconds before speaking. There are two items which need to synchronize for good audio on the system. Our links require time to transfer and compare audio before sending the signal to transmitters. Once the transmitters are active the receive radio require an opportunity to choose the highest quality audio from the 8 active transmit frequencies.
